Double portion

Each day I live, I want to be
A day to give the best of me
I'm only one, but not alone
My finest day is yet unknown

I broke my heart for every gain
To taste the sweet, I faced the pain
I rise and fall, yet through it all
This much remains

I want one moment in time
When I'm more than I thought I could be
When all of my dreams are a heartbeat away
And the answers are all up to me

Give me one moment in time
When I'm racing with destiny
Then in that one moment of time
I will feel, I will feel eternity

I've lived to be the very best
I want it all, no time for less
I've laid the plans, now lay the chance
Here in my hands

Give me one moment in time
- Whitney Houston.

Make the most if this day and every day as you enjoy your double portion.

Take care of yourself.  Stay Safe.

Happy Now

Happy Now

What does it mean to be happy ?

What does it mean to be content ?

Peace in knowing where you are, right now, is exactly where your suppose to be.

Everything you've done or failed to do up until this point has gotten you where you are.

Do not be angry about it.  Make peace with it.  If you do not want to be where you are right now, decide to change your circumstance.

The thought or decision must be followed by a plan of how to get where you want and implementation of what you need to do to get there.

Some people do not make a move towards their dreams or true goals in life until being where they are and who they are becomes too painful/uncomfortable for them. Then they decide to make the change.

Is there something in your life that you need to implement a plan to change ?

If so today's the day.  Now's the time to start moving towards your next step.

Always Improving

Never stop learning
And don't think you're the only one to think of something that comes to your mind.
(Though you may be the only one to act on what you've thought of)
And if you're not
You bring your own unique take and thoughts on the subject and topic.

I have spent the past week with some amazing world class trainers in Orlando enhancing our skills and abilities to best serve our clients.  We each have a strong desire to be the change we would like to see and are actively making it happen by the actions we take to improve ourselves.

A true leader should never stop learning and never think they have arrived at perfection.  The minute they believe "that",  it's best they stop what they're doing because if your not looking to improve on your performance each time you do something you are playing small and are doing your audience and the citizens of your community a dis-service.

Always be improving.
Always be readjusting.
Always seek feedback.

Leaders are open to feedback.  Servant leaders appreciate it because it helps them stay in tune with the needs of the people they minister to.

In all you do seek to understand the needs of audience and to do all you can to fulfill it.  This will provide an excellent learning experience for everyone involved.

Have an excellent 4th of July weekend.

Stay Safe.
