Everything you truly want

If you woke up and magically found you had everything you truly wanted, how would your life be different?

Please spend some time meditating on this question. We will discuss it further later in my blog.

My favorite quote is by Zig Ziglar - (paraphrased) you can have everything you want in life if you help enough other people achieve their dreams.

Happiness and success attract happiness and Success. You are just like the three closest people you choose to hangout with.

Choose wisely your association.   People enter your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. Poor choices can block The Good.

None of us are still the old "Me".  The teenager, the college student, the rookie cop. We've all grown up and moved from that stage of life to the next.

We had friends that were on the same path as us; heading towards graduation from high school, college, the academy, promotion.  They were heading positively in the same direction as we were.  We supported each other, backed each other and help each other succeed at that stage of life.

How many of your friends did you leave behind ? As you transitioned through the stages of your life you had to part ways with people who did not share your path, your life goals, your journey any more.

It does not make you mean or bad or stuck up because you've made new friends. You surrounded yourself with new people on your current path or even further along the path you are traveling.  This is wise and logical.

Every success teacher teaches that you should look for someone doing the job (career) you desire to do and take them to lunch. Ask them for advice and guidance.  Ask them if they are available to mentor you or would allow you to shadow them.

If successful people choose their association and it helps them succeed, why wouldn't we follow that example?

Eagle do not hang out with chickens. Their mission and sight line is much high.  They are called to soar.  Are you ?

Are you hanging with chickens or learning to fly high like an eagle.

The choice is yours.

Help those that want to walk with you, and learn with and from you and Say goodbye to the chickens.  SOAR!!!

The Importance of Encouragement

This week think about the young women in your life.

Think about their potential.

Speak life and encouragement to them.

If you see them as a leader, tell them.

If you see them as a strong, bold and courageous personality, tell them.

Encourage our young women to step into their roles in the world.

Encourage them to be police officers, firefighters, politicians, engineers, mathematicians, etc. The world is theirs. The possibilities are endless.

We must speak this into our young women. It is our mandate to encourage and uplift.
