Tis the season to be Thankful
This week in the US many are preparing for Thursday. It's often called Turkey Day because this is the most popular food item to be included in this holiday's food choices. It's Thanksgiving.
Time together with family, extended family, neighbors and friends is eagerly anticipated. People travel long distances to return home to be with loved ones.
Recognizing our blessings and giving thanks for them is a cherished activity. Whether you choose to do it by phone, text, email, card or in person take the time this week to tell those you love why you are thankful for them. Tell them how much they mean to you and how much their presence in your life makes a difference.
Pictured here I show an Honor ceremony the ladies from my church prepared for me. I read the cards of encouragement and appreciation daily.
Honor the people you have in your life. In this season of Giving Thanks words of sincere appreciation go a long way.
I pray you have a safe and peaceful Thanksgiving week. To our colleagues around the world, Thank you for all you do to keep your communities safe. We pray for continued protection over you.
Happy (American) Thanksgiving !
Happy Belated (Canadian) Thanksgiving !
