It is just a few weeks until our Annual Training Conference which is being held in Winnepeg, Canada. I hope you and your family are doing well.
As your Chaplain, I am checking in to see how you are doing and to let you know about a few services available to IAWP members.
As a sisterhood we walk this journey of life together with all it's ups and downs. We want to share in Celebrations and times of need. Tell us of your promotions, weddings, births, children heading to college, retirement also your illnesses or family member illnesses or their passings. Let us join you.
I can be reached atChaplainDow@yahoo.com. I can arrange times for us to communicate internationally (we are in different time zones around the globe ). Communication between us will remain confidential unless you request I share your situation.
No woman is an island nor should any of us try to be. This network is in place to support and help each other. When you joined IAWP you joined a sisterhood.
Here is the link to the Chaplain Cornerand to our Memorial Section. All known bereavements are entered into this area.
As I prepare for this year's memorial ceremony, please let me know of any additional law enforcement officers who you know of that lost their lives in the Line of Duty.
Also let me know of officers or IAWP members who have passed away and you do not see listed. Because our organization encompasses the planet I do not always get all the news of deaths.
I truly appreciate your help. I am looking to form a Chaplain's Committee to include advisors to represent our diversity of beliefs.
If you are interested in being a part of this committee please contact me.
This organization is a major blessing. Participate and share your accomplishments, dreams, goals and concerns. You never know who you could inspire, who could share your dreams and how your story could help change our world.
There is more good than bad in our world, continue being The Good.
