Africa, Africa

I am so excited to be enroute to Durban, South Africa for the 51st Annual International Association of Women Police Conference.  Over 1,000 women and men from the international law enforcement arena will be in Durban for five days of networking and training.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) have promised an amazing conference and if my first trip to South Africa hosted by SAPS is an example I cannot wait to see the great hospitality our South African colleagues have prepared for us.

The conference experience begins from the moment you register, to your trip to the airport, to your plan flight and the people you meet along the way.

I started my journey on 16 September boarding an afternoon plane to San Francisco from Las Vegas.  This four leg journey began great.  I was driven to the airport by one of my best friends and accompanied by a new friend who both sent me out with blessings.  The blessings appeared right away in that I was upgraded to First Class and was able to meet me first new friend of the journey my seat mate,

Look out upcoming seat mates.  The Chaplain is next to you.  Let's talk.....

More reports from the journey to come.

Safe travels to all who are on their way to the conference.  See you in Durban.

Stay Safe.
