Day 9 Love in Action

Thanks to everyone who shared what love looks like to you.

By a landslide love had a face. It was the face of a child, a lover, a mother, a friend and it had a smile on its face and/or it made you smile. Love was/is people.
Love was shown and communicated through actions. Some people described a kiss, a phone call, a greeting card, a loving note, a random text. These were offered up from mothers and fathers to children, from lovers to lovers, from friends to long lost friends and from siblings to siblings or aunts and uncles.

No one described a passive love. Everyone described an ACTIVE love. Love in action. Love is an action word. Love is an active choice. Falling in love, being loved and loving all verbs, all about action.

The famous adage "it is better to have love and lost than to never have loved at all" came to my mind. Coaches tell you "You miss 100% of the shots you do not take". In this description action is required. You choose to get in the game or to sit on the curb.

So in the game of love; loving your family, children, spouse, friends, parents are you active or passive? You make the choice. You decide. I encourage you all of us to actively show love because from all the responses I got Action is required.

Share your love : )
